BASIC DETAILS
In the heart of the historic town of Pezenas, a former 18th century nunnery has been tastefully converted into a row of four spacious, stylishly-designed gites with quirky sculptures, a mix of comfortable and antique furniture and a wonderful sense of space and light.

  • Each of the 4 gites has 2 bedrooms with ensuites, plus a sofabed on the mezzanine, sleeping up to 6 people
  • The bedrooms are large and include antique furniture and marble fireplaces

Just a two minute walk from the nearest baker and less than five minutes' walk to the centre of Pezenas with its many cafes, restaurants and wine bars - you won’t need to use the car except for exploring all the other fabulous areas of the Languedoc!

And the garden.... You would never know a garden of this size exists in the centre of Pezenas – offering a sunny pool area, private dining terraces and shady spaces under the trees.

The price you will pay is fixed at the time of booking and no subsequent price rises or discounts will apply.

Minimum rental period 7 nights, although you can arrive later and leave earlier if you wish. Normal changeover day is Saturday.

Booking Deposit : 45% non-refundable deposit payable to confirm booking, balance within 8 weeks of arrival date, together with a returnable Damage Deposit of €300.00 per gite. Payment by cheque (euros), electronic bank transfer, or by credit card through Paypal.

Prices include : bed linen, shower towels, pool towels, cleaning & laundry, booking and administration fee, and sales tax.

Early booking discounts : These apply to all reservations confirmed by a deposit payment before 15 December 2014. Please enquire now, because this offer might be withdrawn before 15 December!

"What a happy family time we had...

Spent the most idyllic 10 days at the nunnery with all 16 members of my extended family in June. Ages ranged from 4 months to 65yrs old... everyone was blissed out!!

We occupied all 4 of the bright and airy gites... well equipped and spacious. The caretakers were so sweet and accommodating but kept to themselves.

It's such a heavenly space... beautiful well looked after gardens and great pool.

When we felt like venturing out, we had delightful Pezenas a 5 minute walk away... there is a great hum around the town and plenty of places to eat or have a tipple. And oh those Saturday markets!! So much delicious produce to choose from... fresh fish, delicious cheeses, fruit and veg...

Also rented bikes and cycled around neighbouring towns and vineyards... stunning scenery. Rent a car if you want to go further afield... lots to do in the region.

Highly recommend the nunnery if you are looking for a beautiful space with something for everyone.
