"Myself and my young family of four were staying here late summer last year, beautiful quiet place and Sara and Leigh were very friendly & accommodating hosts.

"We stayed for a week in late July/early August and loved it.

There were 7 in our party, me, husband, children of 7, 4 and 1, and grandparents. We've stayed in many villas over the past few years and this one is particularly lovely.

Sara is a very kind and conscientious owner and the villa is extremely well-equipped. It is spacious, light and very nicely furnished in a traditional French style. There is everything you could need. The outside space is not huge but is so well organised that it feels much bigger.

The pool is a good size and there are several very lovely places to sit outside. It is a short walk from the wonderful town centre where there is tonnes to do.

One of the best things is that Sara includes the cleaning charge in her costs which completely removed stress from our leaving date. We would thoroughly recommend Villa Henri to anyone."

Mediaeval Pézenas is a very lively place, with lots of events and lots to see and do for families with children and for couples! The centre of town is a short walk - you don't even need to take your car so there is no need to worry about parking.

Within a short drive you have the famous Cap d'Agde beaches south of here, or the rivers, lakes and mountains to the north. We are also within easy reach of some great cities, like Carcassonne, Montpellier, Beziers, Marseilles, Narbonne, Nimes and Perpignan.

LANGUEDOC VILLA RENTALS - GENERAL ADVICE ABOUT AVAILABILITY:

Most villa rentals in this part of the Languedoc soon get fully-booked for peak weeks - particularly from March to October. Generally it is advisable to start thinking about booking your villa rental many months in advance.

I know that it can be difficult for extended families holidaying together to find a villa large enough. Then you have to get everyone to agree on the same place and the same dates - not easy!

If you are in this situation, my advice would be to go ahead and book something fast, and then worry about who can come on which dates within that period. I had to disappoint many families last year, because some members of their group spent so long deciding. By the time everyone had agreed, our villa had been rented by another group.

Finally, if I'm fully booked for the dates you want, we have friends with a similar rental villa only a few minutes away from Villa Henri who may be able to help you.
