'SUPERB VILLA FOR FAMILY HOLIDAY, STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!'

"Delighted to say that Villa Henri gave us one of the best family vacations we’ve had so far. We were an extended family – kids, parents, two grandparents. The villa suited us really well and despite the numbers it always felt big enough.

Check-in was friendly and efficient – the owner Sara is a really warm person. The villa was all very clean, well-equipped, comfortably furnished, and tastefully decorated. The big hit with the kids was the pool of course (very clean water) which they adored. There was a good variety of tables, chairs, sun-loungers, etc on the terraces and there were several different parts, so we could get away from each other when we felt like it.

The location was perfect for us. Pezenas felt like a very safe area and we were happy to let our two eldest teenagers go to the town by themselves a couple of times.

Everything was accessible very easily. Apart from Pezenas itself (beautiful place!) and going to the amazing beaches south of Pezenas, we went canoeing, visited caves, went to the Aqualand park, visited Carcassonne, walked part of the Canal du Midi, went to where they make Rocquefort cheese, and lots more besides.

I just checked out Sara’s website again and I’d say it gives you a very fair picture of everything. All in all, we think Villa Henri’s a great place to stay and we’d recommend it very highly. We’re thinking of returning if Sara will have us!"

There are so many variations possible when combining villa rental with the cruise, depending on group size and what you need.

The above prices give you an indication, and I will be happy to work out the exact cost for you if you contact me with your requirements.

We own the villa, so you're dealing with
LOCAL OWNERS AT LOCAL PRICES.

Your stay :   We can pick you up at the airport or your hotel, take you to the villa, take you to the cruise, and do any other transfers on any day of the week, and you can stay as long as you like.

Villa pricing policy:   The villa is priced for periods of one whole week, starting on Saturdays regardless of arrival or departure dates within this. If you don't want to start on a Saturday I can organise hotels locally or in Paris.

COMBINING THE VILLA WITH THE CRUISE :

Option 1 - Villa first, then the cruise :   Most guests will choose to start with the villa vacation on a Saturday and go directly to the barge the following Saturday. They then finish their vacation in grand style with our luxury canal cruise!

So to be clear, that means starting on a Saturday at the villa, and finishing the cruise 12 or 13 nights later - or 19 to 20 nights later if you stay at the villa for 2 weeks before your cruise!

Option 2 - Cruise the canal first, then rent the villa :   It's also possible to start your vacation with the cruise. Your cruise finishes on Friday and your luggage will be transfered to a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the mediaeval town of Pezenas.

You will have a light lunch and then be taken on an historical and artistic tour of this wonderful old town which dates back to the days of the Knights Templar and beyond. Alternatively we can take you on a shopping tour - Pezenas is filled with fabulous boutiques and galleries! In the evening you'll enjoy dinner at a top restaurant in the old town. Then the next day we will transfer you to the villa, only 1km away, where you will start your villa vacation.

GETTING WHAT YOU REALLY WANT
A Europe vacation is important to get right because you're investing your time, money, and dreams in this. Naturally there are lots of options and variations, depending on the number in your party and what you want to do. Because you will be land-based during your stay at the villa, there are more options than on the hotel barge cruise.

I'm happy to talk about your exact needs and your preferences for exact dates and duration of stay. You're paying for a certain amount of flexibility!

One thing I can promise you: when I know exactly what you want I'll confirm the exact all-inclusive price. I like to be very open about everything so that you're completely happy - and so that know what you're paying and you know what you're getting for that.

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION
I will help you through the simple process of booking your vacation. I'm very open and honest, and it's important to me that you have all the information you need before making the reservation. At that point I'll send you the booking forms and payment details.

Deposit: A 35% non-refundable deposit is due when booking the villa. There is also a refundable security deposit of $650, in case of damage. Final payment is due 90 days prior to your arrival. Most credit cards accepted. The terms and conditions are standard and I'll send you these before you make your decision.
