Notes

  • All prices are per person, for courses, accommodation, and local transport for 7 nights
  • Prices include ingredients, all taxes, and are payable in Euros
  • 2 lunches and dinners are not included because we'll go out to restaurants for those meals
  • Please give me alternative dates, so I can put like-minded people on the same course
  • Courses are for a minimum of six and a maximum of ten people, to ensure personal attention

3 BIG REASONS FOR CHOOSING A 'VILLA HENRI COOKING HOLIDAY'
  1. LEARN REAL FRENCH COOKING

    You'll learn French cooking from a real French person who is an expert chef and a great teacher.

    Most "French Cookery Schools" are really "English Cookery Schools in France". If you come on one of my cookery courses, you'll get the AUTHENTIC French experience!

  2. EXCLUSIVE VILLA ACCOMMODATION, NOT JUST A B&B ROOM

    Instead of only getting B&B rooms, your cookery group will enjoy a lovely spacious villa exclusively to yourselves. It's like a house-party!

    There's a big living room with satellite TV, radio, and a log fire, and there's a further large room downstairs whiich has a table tennis table and two tables for card and board games. The villa has a large utility room with washing machine, ironing facilities, etc. Outside there are different terrace areas with sunloungers and two dining tables, a pool, and a large barbecue area.

    Having your own villa also means you'll have access to the kitchen whenever you want, if you want to practice secretly early one morning before your Head Chef comes!

    You can choose to have a bedroom to yourself, or if you want to keep costs down you can share a twin room with another client.

  3. EXCELLENT LOCATION!  (Not isolated in the deep countryside)

    You - and any non-cooking partner you might bring - won't be cut off in the middle of nowhere, which is often the case for so many cookery holidays in the South of France.

    You'll only be a short walk from the centre of the very popular, beautiful mediaeval town of Pezenas, with many things to see and do locally. There's also easy access via public transport to the surrounding region (great cities, beaches, lakes, mountains, etc.) if you want to be very independent one day!

MESSAGE FROM ME, SARA:

Welcome to my South of France Cookery School in Languedoc!

These pages are for you if you want a South of France cookery course, staying for a week in a beautiful villa in a mediaeval town, with other course attendees.

We think you'll love our 'Academie de Cuisine': Our chefs are French, so you get a real South of France experience, and they speak good English, so you don't have to speak any French!

Whether you consider yourself to be a beginner or an intermediate cook, you will learn a lot. You can also expect to improve your knowledge of wines, how vines are grown, how wine is made, and how to choose the right wine to accompany your meals.

You'll leave us after a week having had a fun time with lots of different activities in addition to cookery classes, and you'll take back new skills as well as menus and recipes.
